Adventure Drivers and Testers:
Scott Brady is a trained professional driver, competing in SCORE off-road racing, several trophy events and the Outback Challenge. With tens of thousands of off-highway miles in dozens of different vehicles, Scott has the unique ability to test vehicles at their limits (if desired) while returning the equipment without damage. Scott has performed detailed testing and evaluation for Toyota, Jeep, ARB USA, Adventure Trailers and others.
Equipment Testing and Review: We provide detailed review and testing of equipment for the OHV and Outdoor industries. We conduct a functional and technical review, and "real world" testing of products in support of the manufacturers continuous improvement goals. advanced OHV and expedition training: We are Master Tread Trainer's, certified through Tread Lightly, and have provided training to government agencies, the Arizona State Parks OHV program, Land Rover North America, EarthRoamer and individual clients. We can provide expedition planning consultation and vehicle preparation, in addition to detailed trip planning to most of the remote locations we have explored.
Not a tour company: We DO NOT provide paid tours (and have no plans to do so), but allow interested parties to attend many of our trips free of charge. However, we have assisted companies in organizing rally's, club events and trips, and can tailor an event to your vehicles capabilities and clients expectations.
Our Thoughts on Vehicle Dependent Travel
Expeditions West's Goals:
1. Explore rugged, remote locations in the most efficient, sensitive manner possible.
2. To maximize the enjoyment of the adventure experience by minimizing the distractions related to complex, expensive, failure-prone components, vehicles, accessories and electronics.
3. To only evaluate and purchase items that contribute to the effectiveness of the overall system, that compliment travel partners, critical comfort needs and serviceability and reliability in harsh, unpredictable environments. |
