Doron and I set out to Florence Junction to meet Chris, Jack and Uwe from the 4wdtrips site. We made camp not far from US 60 and met a few of the members of the Zafari club (Chevrolet ZR2's), who were in the area. The 4wdtrips crew came in after dark, and we talked trucks until after 11:00.

We woke the next day and performed a few mods to the trucks (new skid plates for the Taco, Jacks mahogany battery mount etc.) Soon we were on the trail and making our way to Martinez Canyon. We stopped to check out the old stagecoach cabin, and play on a few optional hills.

The canyon was beautiful as usual, and we spent lunch getting to know each other (and our trucks) better. We left the area via Box Canyon, one of my all time favorites!
