This trip was a training session for TEAM BAJA, the adventure racing team that I am a member of. We wanted to conduct some training on the Mtn. Bikes and a few treks that included orienteering and navigation exercises. This is a list of the training we completed: Training map (Satellite Image) Mtn. Bike- 18.5 miles |

| Our campsite near French Creek (dry). The weather was perfect, and I was able to sleep outside on a cot, with a great view of the stars. Light pollution is minimal here. | |
| A view to the north of our camp towards Red hill and Black Mesa | |
| The view west from a small climb we made during the trek. This valley splits the Livingston Hills to the north and the Kofa Mountains to the south. | |
| The view south | |
| The start of the slot canyon on day three | |
| Half way up the canyon, requiring a few bouldering moves | |
A small tinijas at the top of the slot canyon. We also navigated to High tank nine. |
