Prepping the shop

Posted in General on March 22nd, 2009 by Jeremy Edgar

In order to take advantage of the vertical space in the new shop, we needed some tall, heavy-duty shelves.  We acquired some surplus industrial shelves which should work out wonderfully.  I spent the better part of a few days painting them to match some other shelves and storage lockers we already have.  The shelves themselves measure about 8′ x 4′, and we should be able to stack items up to 2′ below the ceiling.

New shop!

Posted in General on March 13th, 2009 by Jeremy Edgar

As the businesses are growing, we are at the point now where we need more garage space and office space.  And we found the perfect spot very close to home.  Just yesterday we were given the keys to the new place and will start moving in this weekend.  There is a small office with an attached garage.  The garage has a 12′ roll-up door, and a 14′ ceiling.  Yesterday I spent time painting and prepping the shelves so that they will be ready for loading up when we move in.  More news to come!
