The Expeditions West Tacoma left Prescott at 3:00 am to make the Feature Vehicles Check-in time. I took this picture as the sun was coming up, just before dropping down to the Colorado River.
New on the truck this year is HID IPF driving lamps, Viking Off-Road Fairlead and Winchline on the front, along with new DR high corrosion resistant coil-overs. New BFG low glass, extreme snow rated AT/KO's (295/75) are mounted to American Racing Chamber wheels and SpiderTrax 1.25 spacers. A Morphic light bar mounts the four IPF spot lamps. New Deaver 11 leaf pack and Donahoe Racing remote reservoir shocks round out the rear suspension. A new Hi-lift X-treme jack was fitted as well. Following closely behind is an Adventure Trailer Chaser with Thule bike rack and my trusty Specialized Epic fitted with Shwalbe Ice Spiker Tires.
