Home / Equipment / Jeep Wrangler Exhaust

The factory Jeep Wrangler exhaust is positioned too low, and is susceptible to damage. In addition, the cross over pipe is in a poor location, and can easily be damaged by rock, and when braking over a steep rise or berm.

I had a custom exhaust built using a small turbo muffler 2" x 6" x 10", and had the exhaust routed higher than stock. I also had the shop install two extra mounts. The system is tight, rattle free, and offers great clearance. The only negative was a slight drop in top end power. However, the torque band dropped slightly, which I considered a better outcome anyway.

The exhaust tucks tight against the transmission

As shown in the picture, the exhaust now runs above the skid plate.

This small turbo muffler is HALF the size of the stock unit
