General Comments and Impressions

Feedback from the Owner, John Shotts:

"PROS: Extremely easy (and affordable) to transform into a extreme off-roader.  (Triple lockers from the factory are already included.) Ideal build (tire size, clearance, approach/departure angles, and wheelbase) for running a variety of difficult trails/obstacles safely. Extremely overbuilt and reliable.  A rig that one can beat up over and over again and without failure.

CONS: Under powered, especially when loaded (though this doesn't distract it in off-road conditions). Poor brakes.  Takes lots of pedal pressure and stopping distance.  On extreme down hills your butt sometimes comes off the seat while pushing on the pedal.  Even worse when wet. While the 80-series SUV's seem to fit handily in most off-road situation, there is no doubt however it's size can be a limiting factor versus a smaller rig. "
